As a Engineering Maintenance Manager, I'm responsible for steam boiler plant across our mill sites, where reliable steam is critical to production. Gordon and Jones have serviced our steam boilers for many years, carrying out routine servicing and supporting our annual inspections, and throughout my time with the company they've consistently delivered a professional, knowledgeable and responsive service.
When a gas valve actuator failed on one of our boilers and we had no spare on site, Gordon and Jones sourced the part quickly and had an engineer on site promptly to fit it, keeping downtime to a minimum. Their engineers understand the pressures of a production environment and work around our operations with minimal disruption.
I'd have no hesitation recommending Gordon and Jones to any business that relies on steam plant.
We regularly use Gordon and Jones for our industrial boiler works and have consistently been impressed with the quality, professionalism, and reliability of their service.
On numerous occasions, they have gone above and beyond to help us out. Not only in extremely time sensitive and critical situations where, quite simply, no one else could, but also in our regular planned maintenance. Their ability to respond, understand the situation and deliver the right solution when it matters most has been invaluable
They are dependable, responsive and are always there when you need them. Quite frankly they are decent people who always work to a high standard; following safe working practices and take the time to ensure every job is completed properly and responsibly.
Their expertise, professionalism and commitment to delivering a first class service make them a company I would be happy to recommend to others without hesitation.
Gordon&Jones Industrial Boiler Services have taken on the maintenance of our Fulton Steam Boiler over the last 3 and a half years.
This entails an annual full strip down and rebuild for our insurance inspector plus call outs to boiler failures during the year. The company have all the contacts for welding repairs and safety valve overhauls which keeps us producing steam five days a week.
Gordon&Jones are very knowledgeable and easy to deal with and will be looking after our Steam Boiler for years to come.
