Information we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form we collect your name, email address and the details you give us about the work you need. Your company name and telephone number are optional. If you email or call us directly we keep the details you share.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect information about how you use the website, such as the pages you visit, how you move around them, your approximate location and the type of device and browser you use. Our cookie policy explains this in more detail. If you reject analytics cookies, none of this is collected.
How we use it
We use enquiry details to reply to you, prepare quotes and arrange or carry out the work you ask about. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
We use analytics information only to understand how the website is used and to improve it. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your agreement.
Who we share it with
We use trusted suppliers to run this website, and they handle information on our behalf under contract:
- BM Technologies, which builds and hosts the website.
- SMTP2GO, which delivers the emails sent by our contact form.
- Cloudflare, which protects the website and checks that form submissions come from a person.
- Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity), only if you accept analytics cookies.
Some of these suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Analytics information is kept for the periods set in Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email [email protected].
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
